Coronavirus | This Ain't Our First Rodeo

The Spring of 2022 Garage Quote Process

In February of 2018, my family and I took a flight home from Florida to Minneapolis. Within 1 week we were all diagnosed with influenza, the common flu. My youngest son Max had it the worse. He had to be taken to the hospital to receive fluid intravenously for severe dehydration.

Back in 2018, I didn't want anyone to catch my cold/flu so I took several simple precautions to protect my customers and their families. We still conducted business, we just keep our distance.

In 2020, with the COVID-19 virus changing the way work gets done almost daily, I implemented a new quoting process to protect our clients, trade partners, and employees.

Normally we'd meet in person, talk over options, determine the best possible price, and build your new garage.
We're still doing all those things but using technology instead of an onsite meeting.

These are some of the questions we need to be answered to get the process started.
  • What size garage would you like?
  • Is there an old garage we need to remove?
  • Will the new garage go in the same location?
  • What type of siding? Vinyl, LP SmartSide, Hardy, wood or stucco?
  • What type of roof style? Gable, reverse gable or hip?
  • What roof pitch? 4/12 standard, 6/12, 7/12, 8/12 storage truss roof?
  • If choosing a storage roof truss, would you like a 3/4 T&G floor with a drop-down folding attic ladder?
  • A 16x7 Raised Panel Steel OH door is standard? Would you like something larger?
  • Would you like a new driveway or use the existing one? Concrete or Asphalt?
  • How about electricity and a new garage door opener?
With this information and a phone call, we'll have a better understanding of the scope of work for your garage project.
I still need to see the grade of your lot before we can move forward so a drive-by site inspection will be done.

My website is full of great information to help you determine exactly what style of garage will fit your home and budget.
Here are a couple of links to get you started.
